Part 1: On-demand videos or 6-day live bootcamp

All topics from the blueprint (v1.1) are covered by alternating between lessons, hands-on workbook task, self-assessment quizzes and breaks.
35% whiteboard lessons and demonstrations. 65% extensive hands-on lab exercises.
The course is technology focused, enabling you to apply the skills even beyond the exam.

Expect long and efficient days from 9am to 8pm. Even though we have lot to cover, there is still adequate time for breaks throughout the day, follow-up sessions, discussions and individual guidance. All live session will be recorded and shared with the participant after each day.

If you choose the on-demand version you will get access to exactly the same workbook. The high quality pre-recorded lessons can be viewed online in a browser.

In both cases, all course materials are shared with you for lifetime access.

Your instructor is Andreas Baekdahl, the first person in the world to pass the DevNet Expert practical lab exam. Andreas is a 3x CCIE (in Routing & Switching, Service Provider and Data Center), a CCDE and a former Certified Cisco Systems Instructor (CCSI).

As network automation practitioner in his day-job, Andreas brings real-world, up-to-date expertise that’s highly relevant to the industry. One of his key skills is teaching complex topics in a simple, easy-to-understand way, making even the most advanced concepts accessible to everyone.

Part 2: Mock labs and rack rental

You will get access to 100 hours of rack rental in a dedicated, cloud based lab environment. Here you can re-iterate over the workbook tasks at your own pace, or go over them for the first time if you opted for the On-Demand video course.

When you feel ready, you can take on the 4 mock labs. These are collections of carefully crafted challenges that spans the entire blueprint. Expect to use a full day for each mock lab. You should save at least 40 hours of rack rental for mock labs.

When you submit your solutions for a mock lab, it will get personally graded and reviewed by Andreas. You will get valuable feedback on your solutions and coding style.

Part 3: Mentoring and extra content

When you have booked your seat at the DevNet Expert practical lab exam, it's time to create an exam strategy and keep pushing the limits of your skill set of these advanced topics.

You can schedule 1:1 mentoring sessions with Andreas to discuss anything related to the exam topics or test taking strategy.

We run a large study group on Webex with alumni from previous classes, that you are invited to join.

After you have completed everything in the workbook and mock labs, your will start to receive new content and tasks in your inbox every 3rd day for a couple of months, to make sure you have every topic fresh in mind.
There is a large variety in the complexity of these extra tasks, and this is meant to prepare you mentally for the wide range of features you might be tested on in the exam.
